"The Tree" is a collaboration song between Yang Hee-eun and sibling duo Akdong Musician (AKMU), released on March 15, 2017. It is the 8th part of Yang Hee-eun's collaboration project [The Unexpected Meeting]. The song was written and composed by Lee Chanhyuk to express the feelings of comfort and respect for the other person, which he felt after visiting his sick grandfather.
